Watter's Creek first annual Parade, Pooches, and Patriots on the Green celebration. Festivities include kid and pooch patriotic parade and costume contest. Children of all ages are welcome to decorate their bikes, wagons, strollers and scooters to join the 15 minute parade. Canines should be on a leash and no motorized vehicles are permitted. Admission and parking is free. Prizes will be awarded.
Before and after the parade their will be clowns, face painting, and balloon artists. Families are also encouraged to bring care package items such as disposable cameras, hygiene products, phone cards, playing cards, AA batteries, energy bars, gum and small stuffed animals to donate for Soldier care packages.
Registration for the parade is from 11am - noon and is free. The parade begins promptly at noon. Winners will be announced at 1pm.
Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm is located at 970 Garden Park Drive (US 75 and Bethany Drive) in Allen.
